Creme horn/cupcake and a caramel macchiato and best cold day thing ever!
The pastries/cakes are outstanding but I can't say the same for the coffee. I have purchased coffee here twice in the last few weeks and both times it was lukewarm and had to be reheated in the microwave. Hot beverages should be served in a temp range of 160 -195 for optimum flavor. Unfortunately there are very few coffee venues here and I have run the gamut on those and found them not to be any better. I am in town on family business by way of Cincinnati where we have a plethora of excellent coffeehouses. Luckily I brought my french press, the best way to make and enjoy coffee.
Did an amazing job on my wedding cake.
Sweet things recently did the cake, cupcakes and brownies for my wedding. Everyone talked about the way the sweets were displayed they called it the "cake forest". It was absolutely beautiful and all the sweets were fantastic. Brownies were superb!! Beautiful Job. Would recommend them to anyone
My wife and I found Sweet Thing Bakery when we were scouting for our wedding cake. We found this gem and instantly fell in love with the desserts as well as Preston and his staff! They have been very informative and helpful through out the whole process. When we went in for our cake tasting, we tried several different types of cake as he explained the cake and icing. Even though our wedding was a year away when we decided on our cake, we would go into the bakery just to grab something sweet and were never disappointed! I must say that this bakery doesn’t know how well of a job they do! Not only were our guests satisfied, but we gained a new friend. This place does not disappoint with variety and cost! 5 stars doesn’t do justice!
