Beware of the $80 diagnosis they will tie you in with a $300-$500 fix, just to magically find more issues with your car so you have to keep your car being fixed with them.
I have been having my car serviced here for a couple of years, as well as purchasing my tires and have never been disappointed. This crew is professional, top notch and honest in their work.
Charged me $550 to put in a $5 thermostat saying "Oh well, there was labor involved in changing the thermostat and padded the bill. Drove home and antifreeze poured out of the car. Took it back and they wanted another $400 to change a hose and put in a reservoir. Got a second opinion and the only thing wrong was it needed a new $6 radiator cap.On my other car they charged $650 just to attach some wires that weren't reattached from another service repair. Should have realized then I was scammed. Out over $1000 . Buyer beware. Stay clear. This all happened after they changed names. Before that, we always got good service.
I will never bring my car back ! They told me a price and then when I bought it in they changed the price ten dollars more . Also brought my car in for a spine balance and roatation and now my car is having problems .
My car was brought in the shop by triple a because it lost power. I authorize a $80 diagnosis to know what's wrong with the car and to decide if I wanted the car fixed or I wanted to take it to another mechanic. I'm told it's the coils for $500, ok I authorize it, then I'm told is the ignition and head cylinder for a total of $1900 my car was already tied in the shop because already work was done for $500, I thought the diagnosis was for that purpose to find out what was wrong with the car , if I knew it was $1900 from the beginning I toll my car elsewhere. It doesn't stop there, I get the car towed to Florida and the car is making loud steering wheel noises, I call them and let them know why I was not told about this noise? , I take it to one of their partner companies in Florida and they want to charge me $2400 for a steering wheel pump change! The pump was fine before going in the shop in NC. It was a rip off ! $1900 and the car is not fixed.
Good bunch of mechanics honest. It were on top of my problem tell me get back on the road.
