Went in for inquiry about the cost of a color and cut. got a half way decent greeting from elizabeth. she told me the price and that it would be about and hour to hour and half wait. i returned in a hour and she was still busy so i decided to wait. as i sat there waiting for 20 some minutes there were customers that came in looking for other hairstylists and she gave them the same not so welcoming look i received along with a very short and unfriendly response she managed to have something negative to say about every customer that walked in after they walked out. i understand not everyone gets along but to gossip about individuals right in front of 3 customers is very unprofessional. so instead of getting my hair done i decided to leave because i had heard enough. will not return when she is there.
I went here to get my hair curled for prom, thinking that professionals could do it faster & better than i could. I was terribly mistaken. I got there, & an older lady tended to me. From the start it was obvious she didn't know what she was doing, the other girls had to help her with the computer & setting up. I sat down in her chair & told her i just wanted her to curl my hair with spirals, like you would with a curling wand. She used a curling iron, but i assumed she knew what she was doing. She took over an hour & a half just to curl my hair, & burned me, pulled my hair extremely too hard (& I'm not tender headed by any means), & sprayed hairspray in my eyes multiple times. By the time she had finished, my hair looked like an absolute trainwreck, i was late getting to pictures & hadn't even gotten dressed or put on makeup yet. If i had time to go home, wash my hair, & do it over myself i would have, but she took so long i couldn't even do that much for myself or i wouldn't have been able to do anything with my friends. This absolutely killed my self esteem for my senior prom night & i left the salon nearly in tears. This woman should be fired if she can't even do a simple task such as curling hair. Absolutely horrible experience.
This can be a good place, just depends on who you get to cut your hair. Some girls could care less, they just work there. Others are actually engaging and try their hardest to give you exactly what you want. My beef with this place mainly is is it CLOSES AT 8PM, but is listed open until an hour later. It not only effects the employees by making them work later but also loses potential business. Can someone please change the hours? Thank you!
This place is awful,went in wanting a cut and blonde highlights what a mistake! She basically chopped all my hair on one side off and my blonde highlights look more reddish orange than blonde. Never again!!
This place is TERRIBLE. Literally anywhere else would be better! I went in wanting a haircut and now realize it was a waste of time and money. An african american male who looked like he was maybe in his late thirties, early forties cut my hair. First off, he sprayed my hair with so much water that it seeped through the cloth and my clothes were damp when I left. He asked me if it looked okay (while it was still wet) and had the audacity to ask me if I wanted him to dry it!!?? Then, after he blew dried it, he asked if I still wanted it thinned out (me thinking he had already done this). I said yes and he said "I really don't want to but I will." He also took forever, kept complaining about his hand cramping up, and either the thinking shears were dull or he wasn't using them right because it was literally hurting me when he used them. He did not try to make me feel welcome or comfortable whatsoever. WORST experience in a salon.
