This park is nice. I've been walking bike riding the trails since I was in elementary school...30 years ago! I've been here for family reunions, and I've learned from my neighbors that they have gone fishing here. It's nice and woody and there are multiple small bodies of water and ducks and other local birds to watch. There are also tennis courts and horse shoe pitching stations. This is also near the I-40 baseball field.
I had a great experience with my daughter fed the ducks she played in the park, went walking on the trail it was great.

Great family park! Kids can play on the multiple playgrounds, feed the ducks, ride their bikes on the trail. Adults can have cookouts and play horses U's and have a great time with family and friends. I will go back again and again
This is a great park. There is a pond and lots of ducks but no swimming in the pond. There is a little wooden bridge that crosses the pond and two play areas, one on each side of the pond. Plenty of swings with 2 swing sets with swings for baby and older children. There are also swings for adults that can hold 4 or 5 people. There is a gazebo and a water spout. There are two large covered picnic areas with fireplace, grills and lots of picnic tables. You can rent these for a party or reunion. There are bathrooms on both sides of the pond also. This is a great place to take pictures and popular for prom pics. There are also walking trails in the woods. The only negative is that they changed the name this year. For 40 years this was called Lakewood park and it should still be that way. But overall it's a great park for all ages.
