Buyer beware: BETCO DOES NOT HONOR ITS WARRANTY
We are a local self storage company and purchased many buildings from Betco. Two of our facilities had a sealant (around some of the screws in the roof) to leak into customer's units. We spent countless hours contacting Betco and received a very slow response. We had to have our Office Manager contact the local sales representative (for Betco) directly, before we received any response.

Once we finally got a response from the gentleman that handles warranty issues, we got the run around. He passed the information on to their (Betco's vendor) and said they would have to take care of the issue. We explained that we purchased the "final product" from Betco, not their vendors. Betco did not come in to make the repairs nor did they inquire about the customer's damaged items. They simply stated that we must have used some sort of cleaner on the roof. We have used not cleaner or any other solvent on the roof. We had a lot of rain this year, but the sealant should stand up to rain. We will not be purchasing our new buildings from Betco.
The review by Ms Lin is not an accurate statement. The buildings that she refers to are years past their warranty. BETCO attempted to get the company that manufactured the mastic to help out, but they would not for the same reason....the buildings were way past their warranty.
