Flies were all over the place and it's NOVEMBER! This place is mismanaged...the staff have no clue what's going on...heard people hooting and hollering in the back. Tartar sauce ran out, a worker came and took the canister away and never returned it. Save your money and eat somewhere else.
Great brand new A&W in North Carolina. It took a while to get our food, but it was excellent. Burgers were perfectly constructed, the meat had a lot of flavor, bacon excellent, fresh buns. Cheese curds fantastic as they should be. I was surprised by the quality of fries as well. Chocolate shake thick and rich. And of course, draft root beer in a frosted mug. Unless you need to use the bathroom, you won't know that it is attached to a gas station.
Service was decent, fairly quick to get our order, and not too long to get our food. Food however was terrible. Both of us got the fish combo, and it was like trying to chew rubber. Fish was overcooked and extremely greasy. Didn't bother trying to complain or get our money back, wasn't worth the hassle or agrivation for 10 dollars. Will definitely not be coming back.
Have been there twice....both times got my order wrong. Place is brand new and already has a cleanliness rating of only 94.5. It was lunch time and they had NO FRIES available.
The food was good the staff was nice and the wait wasn't long but the bathroom that they have is attached to a convenience store and it was way beyond disgusting. No soap dirty toilet and floors just nasty
Staff very nice and helpful. Food however was not fresh. The rootbeer float was good though.
