Its a good place if you only want to sleep. There are a lot of illegal activities going on at the motel and the cops frequent there. Not a place for children or families.
There is also a bowling alley maybe 500 feet away that we have been told has excellent food but there is absolutely no one that will deliver to the motel. You can't beat it for $45 a night.
I don't see how this place is still in business!! The ceiling was unfinished and the police should've had a station there!! The only good thing I can say, I didn't see any roaches in the room.
Horrible. Paid for a room went to grab some drinks went back to the room and there was a lady getting dressed. Same lady that came into the lobby after me as I was paying. Dont know if it was a scam to try and get me to buy the more expensive room or if he sold us an occupied room. Wouldnt give us another room for the same price. Had to charge $48 more... So we got our money back. That hotel is not worth 50 a night let alone 80-90
We have had a wonderful stay. The room is exceptionally clean. The room is also large for the price. The bed is clean and comfy. I wouldn't say that everyone that stays here is on the up and up but as long as you keep to yourself you won't have any problems. We didn't hear any noise at night though except that the room we stayed in was right by the highway so you can hear the big rigs go by. The owner is easy to get along with as long as you have the money for your room on time. The area is patrolled heavily by local law enforcement so there isn't a lot of craziness happening. Across the street is a small store that has anything you could possibly need at incredibly low prices. There is also a deli inside with made to order food that is extremely inexpensive
This is not a good place for travelers are people that are just stopping in the Statesville. The people that usually use this hotel or not a good element. Very dirty would not recommend it
