We had enough points thru wyndham for a free night. I made the reservation to stay here and got e-mail conformation. After driving 9 hours and arriving at almost midnight we were tired and ready to rest. The lady at front desk was very rude. She kept asking for a credit card for payment. I tried explaining to her but she would not listen and kept cutting me off asking for payment. I showed her the e-mail and she said I could not do that and that I needed to pay! After her nasty attuide I refused to stay there and we had to go find another hotel and call to get my points straightened out.
We had never stayed at a Microtel before but had stayed at numerous Wyndam properties in the past. We just needed a nice clean, comfortable room for one night on the road. We were very pleased and our hot breakfast was a bonus!
The location is in a good spot right off the highway. Wasn't expecting much for the price and location of the hotel. Service was good and the staff were very friendly. We were supposedly on a smoke-free floor, but the entire place absolutely stank of cigarettes. Besides that the room was clean and the bed was comfortable enough.

Good basic lodging at a great price. Not fancy, but adequate. Friendly staff, decent breakfast, reasonably updated furnishings, satisfactorily clean. Would stay again.
