Overall, our stay was nice. The room was a little on the small side, and there were no bath tubs, but it was comfortable. The breakfast was nice, and the lady running it was very friendly and helpful.
Second worst hotel experience of my life. Paid for a king room online, received a double. Leftover food in the fridge from the guests before us. Dead bugs, hair and lint in the shower. Was killing live bugs as soon as we walked in. Owner is incredibly rude and so is Jean at the front desk. One might be lead to believe she had a near death experience with a smile. Room was soooo hot when we walked in. Cranked the ac as low as it would go and never cooled off much. If it weren't for my baby we would have slept in our car. The only good part of the trip was Amy at check in and the sweet lady monitoring breakfast. Never again will we stay at a Sleep Inn.
The location was slightly difficult to get to due to construction work that has getting done for over a year now. The rooms were nice and beds were comfortable. The air conditioner didn't seem to push out much air so we opened the windows instead which allowed a much cooler breeze into the room. The only issue we had with the bathroom was that the shower door was glass instead of frosted glass which others may not want fill frontal if needing go use the bathroom while someone is in the shower
I guess I will start with the positive, the bed was comfortable. Besides for that, I was very disappointed. You could hear the people on both sides talking and their TVs. The refrigerator made noises all night, the water in our shower started trickling and splattering about 5:00am for no reason. Definitely not worth what I paid for. And the most disappointing thing was there was no American Flag on the flag pole. I will not stay at this location again.
I am very happy with my stay at Sleep Inn on 1212 Tonewood St, NC. The front desk personnel were pleasent. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was super clean and the housekeeping personnel were very nice and accommodating. The free breakfast consisted of a well rounded assortment of fruit, begal to toast, make your own waffles with different syrups, three choices of cereal and delicious coffee. I would recommend this particular Inn to anyone. However, I would like to recommend the company place a sign for the Inn at the corner entrance to find the place better. As well as, placing a sign at the entrance of each hallway or door asking people to please hold the handle while closing the door. The doors are very loud. Again, I enjoyed my experience at Sleep Inn. Thank you.
